Cemetery Commissioners' Report

The Cemetery commissioners hereby submit their report for the year 1935:

The development of the addition to Oak Knoll cem- etery has been carried forward by means of Federal aid and about six acres have been graded and are now ready for the laying out of lots.

The roadways in Oak Knoll cemetery have been widened on the hills making the navigation of the sharp curves more safe and somewhat reducing the cost of maintenance.

Twelve additional lots have been given perpetual care, the largest number in a single year since the fund was established, and many lots have been graded and memorials placed.

The Commissioners deplore the acts of vandalism committed in Oak Knoll and Four Corners cemeteries and call attention to the severe penalties that may be imposed for the desecration of burial grounds.
