Family Tickets, in Packages of Fifty.
Each ticket passing one of four persons, all of whom must be the immediate members of the fam- ily of the purchaser, (whose names will be printed in full on the ticket), will be sold between Boston and the above stations, at the prices named in the tariff.
Persons wishing for these tickets must sign an order therefor, (giving the names in full of the persons using them,) which may be found at the Office in Salem, and at the ticket offices along the line of the road.
Season Tickets are sold subject to the fol- lowing Rules and Conditions, which form part of the contract of sale :

No ticket will be issued for a term less than one month.
No transfer of tickets will be permitted.
No allowance for non-usance except on the sur- render of the ticket, when the price paid will be returned, deducting the rate that would have been charged had the ticket been taken for the time it has been in possession of the holder. On a monthly ticket the regular fares will be charged for the time it has been held.
Persons whose whole business it is to acquire an education, whether in schools, counting rooms, work shops, or stores, under eighteen years of age, will be furnished with a ticket to be used for that object only, at three-quarters the above prices.
Children over 5 and under 13 years of age, will be furnished with a ticket at one-half the above prices. Holders of season tickets must present their tickets for inspection, when so required by the conduc- tors, or pay the regular fare, in the train.
Season tickets are subject to the general regulations of the road, and do not entitle the holder to carry with him anything but his own personal baggage.

The NEW and superior sea-going steamers ATLANTIC, Captain George Knight, and FOREST CITY, Captain F. A. Prince, will leave the end of Central wharf, Boston, for Portland alternately every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, at 7 o'clock P. M. Returning, will leave Atlantic Railroad wharf, Portland, on the same days, at 7 P. M.
On the arrival of the boat at Portland, cars leave for Gorham, N. H., Island Pond, Montreal, Lew- iston, Monmouth, Winthrop, Readfield, Belgrade, Waterville, Hallowell, and Augusta.
Freight taken as usual. Fare to Portland, Cabin $1, Deck 75 cents.
Stages will be in readiness at the above stations to convey passengers to the different towns throughout the State.
No Camphene, Turpentine, Oil of Vitriol, or other explosive burning fluids or materials which ignite by friction, taken by this line.
