ISAAC SAMPSON (the father) was the son of Benjamin and Priscilla (Churchill) Sampson, of Kingston, Mass .; b rn December, 1789; married Elizabeth, daughter of William and Elizabeth (Drew) Sherman, of Plymouth, January 1, 1822, and had three children-Elizabeth, George and Isaac. He was a dry goods merchant in Plymouth.
