Journal of the House of Representatives


3 Post Meridiem.


A Petition of Thomas Harvey of Taunton, and Nicholas Morey of Freetown, pre- sented to the House and Read, Praying, That the said Harvey may be Enabled to bring forward his Appeal from a Judgment of the Inferiour Court of Common Pleas held in Bristol in January last, in a Cause between him and John Godfrey, respecting Title of Land, to the next Superiour Court of Judicature to be holden in Bristol, which through a Mistake, he is now Barred from: And that the said Morey may be relieved from the Judgment of the said Inferiour Court, whereby he was obliged to pay the said Godfrey the Sum of 11 l. 15 s. 7 d. for Reasons alledged in the said Petition.


Ordered, That the said Petition be Referred to the next Session of this Court for further Consideration.


An Engross'd Bill, Intituled, An Act in addition to an act Intituled, An act, pro- viding in Case of Sickness. Read, and


Resolved, That the Bill do pass to be Enacted.
