All money received as re-imbursement from the State or County for money spent on roads be appropriated towards the payment of highway notes and that any further sums needed to pay said notes be drawn from the Revenue account.

To either of the Constables of the Town of Wayland in said County.

In the name of the Commonwealth you are required to notify and. warn the inhabitants of the Town of Wayland, qualified to vote in town affairs, to meet at the Town Hall on Tuesday, the 6th day of April next at 7.45 o'clock in the after- noon there and then to act on the following articles, viz :
Article 1. To hear any reports of Town Officers, agents and committees and act thereon.
Article 2. To grant money for the settlement of claims for damages against the town and for all other necessary town purposes.
Article 3. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Town Treasurer to borrow a sum of money for the purpose of purchasing a Steam Roller or otherwise act.
Article 4. To see if the Town will vote to install two electric lights on Draper Road between Plain Road and the Bryden estate, and to appropriate and assess a certain sum of money for said purpose or otherwise act.
Article 5. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Board of Fire Engineers to expend a sum of money not ex- ceeding $100.00 in part payment for a fire observation tower on Nobscott Hill, Sudbury and to appropriate and assess said sum for said purpose or otherwise act.

Pursuant to Town warrant the inhabitants of Wayland qualified to vote in Town affairs met this day and did the following business.
VOTED :- To proceed to the nomination and election by ballot of a moderator pro tempore.
Mr. John Connelly was nominated and unanimously elected as pro tempore.
ARTICLE ONE :- Mr. Francis P. White, Chairman of the Committee, to investigate the advisability of purchasing a steam roller reported for the majority of the Committee that the Buffalo Pitts Steam Roller should be purchased if any at a cost of $3150.00. Mr. White submitted also a recom- mendation signed by three members of the Committee as

follows: "The Committee recommends the purchase of a Buffalo Pitts Double cylinder Steam Road (10 ton) Roller at a cost not exceeding $3150.00. Mr. Clarence S. Williams made a minority report and advised against making a recommendation to purchase.
VOTED :- That the report of the Committee be laid on the table until after action on Article 3.
VOTED :- To take up Article 3.
ARTICLE THREE :- VOTED, That the Town Treas- urer, with the approval of the Selectmen be and hereby is authorized to borrow a sum of money not exceeding $3150.00 for the purpose of purchasing a Steam Road Roller and issue notes therefor, payable $1150.00 in one year, $1000.00 in two years and $1000.00 in three years with in- terest.
The vote on the above matter was sixty-four in favor and nine against.
VOTED :- To return to Article one.
ARTICLE ONE :- VOTED, that the recommendations of the Committee appointed to investigate the advisability of purchasing a Steam Roller be accepted, and the Com- mittee be authorized and instructed to purchase a Steam Roller at a cost not exceeding $3150.00.
ARTICLE TWO :- VOTED, that a sum of money not exceeding $1000.00 be appropriated from the Revenue ac- count to pay claims for damages against the Town and in- cidental expense connected therewith.
ARTICLE FOUR :- VOTED, that the Selectmen be instructed to install two electric lights on Draper Road be- tween Plain Road and the Bryden Estate, and to appro- priate and assess $27.00 for said purpose.
ARTICLE FIVE :- VOTED, that the Board of Fire En- gineers be authorized and instructed to expend a sum of

The vote on the above matter was fifty-five in favor and three against.

VOTED :- That the report be accepted and placed on file.

ARTICLE SIX :- Voted that the Town appropriate a sum not exceeding $5500.00 for the purpose of building a concrete bridge over the River on Pelham Island Road ; that $1500.00 be assessed in the current year, and that the Treas- urer, with the approval of the Selectmen be and hereby is authorized to borrow not exceeding $4000.00, and to issue notes therefor, maturing $1000.00 in 1916, $1000.00 in 1917, $1000 in 1918 and balance in 1919, and that a committee, consisting of the Selectmen and Edmund H. Sears is hereby elected to carry out the provisions of this note, and have the bridge erected. The vote on this matter was unani- mous.
