AUDITOR'S REPORT
This is to certify that I have carefully examined the books and accounts of the Treasurer and find them cor- rect.
I have examined and compared the books of the Col- lector of Taxes for the years 1916-1917-1918, and found the amounts collected and paid the Treasurer and the amounts uncollected agree with the statement of the Town Treasurer.
That I have examined the books and compared the vouchers of the Water Commissioners, Fire Department, School Committee, Selectmen and Public Library, and find they agree with the payments of the Treasurer.
I have examined the books of the Town Clerk and found them complete and correct.

WARRANT For Annual Town Meeting
COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS Norfolk, ss.
To either of the Constables of Plainville, Greeting :
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabit- ants of the Town of Plainville qualified to vote in Town affairs to meet in the Town Hall, in said Plainville, on Monday, the third day of March, A. D. 1919, at nine o'clock in the forenoon, then and there to act on the fol- lowing Articles, viz. :
Article 1. To choose a Moderator to preside at said meeting.
Article 2. To choose all necessary Town Officers. The following are to be chosen by ballot, viz. :
Three Selectmen, three Overseers of the Poor, one Treasurer, one Clerk, one Auditor, one Collector of Tax- es, one Trustee of the Public Library for three years, one Water Commissioner for three years, one Tree Warden, three Constables, one member of the School Committee for three years, and also on the same ballot to vote upon the question : "Shall license be granted for the sale of in- toxicating liquor in this Town?"
All officers except the above named are to be chosen for one year.
The polls will be open at 9:30 o'clock A. M. and may be closed by vote at 2 o'clock P. M.

Article 4. To see if the Town will vote to postpone action on all Articles calling for appropriations to an ad- journed meeting to be held Monday evening, March 3rd, 1919.

1. The support of schools the current year.
2. For school books and supplies.
3. For school incidentals.
4. For the employment of a Superintendent of Schools.

Article 8. To see if the Town will vote to have the surety of the Collector of Taxes or other Town Offi- cers' bonds placed with a fidelity or guarantee company and appropriate a sum of money to pay for the same.
Article 9. To see if the Town will authorize the Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen t. borrow money after January 1, 1919, in anticipation of the re- vennie of 1919.
Article 10. To see if the Town will vote to install an electric light at the bridge on Bacon square. (Petition.)
Article 11. To see if the Town will vote to appro- priate the sum of $100.00, or any other sum, for the im- provement and upkeep of the old cemetery on Bacon street, or take any action thereon.
Article 12. To see if the Town will vote to raise or appropriate any sum for the welcoming home of our boys in the Government service, or take any action thereon.
Article 13. To see if the Town will accept Lincoln avenue from South street to the east side of Central Park, as laid out on plan of Central Park made by F. T. Westcott, C. E., dated September, 1912, and recorded with Norfolk County Registry of Deeds, Plan Book 65, file 3123. (Request.)
Article 14. To see if the Town will vote to borrow the sum of $1763.20, or any part thereof, for Plainville ap- portionment of the cost of the Norfolk County Hospital, under General Acts of 1916, Chapter 286.

PROCEEDINGS OF ANNUAL TOWN MEETING
Town Hall, Plainville, Mass., March 3, 1919.
Pursuant to the foregoing warrant, the inhabitants of the Town of Plainville, qualified to vote in Town affairs, assembled at the Town Hall, in said Town, on the first Monday of March, it being the third day of said month, A. D. 1919, at 9 o'clock A. M.
The meeting was called to order at the time and place mentioned in said warrant by the Town Clerk reading the warrant and return thereon.
Article 1. Election of Moderator. On motion of Syl- vester Smith, it was unanimously voted that Rufus King cast one ballot containing the name of Hosmer F. Keeney for Moderator. John A. Kenerson, acting as teller, the ballot was cast and Mr. Keeney declared elected.
On motion of Walter E. Barden, it was voted to act upon Article 15. Voted, a committee of five be appointed to bring in nominations for Financial or Advisory Com- mittee.
Nominating committee : Millard M. Rines, Sylvester Smith, Frank W. Averill, Rufus King, Daniel Hancock.
Article 4. On motion of Rufus King it was unanim- ously voted: "That when this meeting adjourns, it ad- journs to this hall at 7:30 o'clock this evening."
On motion of W. E. Barden it was unanimously voted that action on all Articles in the warrant, with the ex- ception of Articles 1, 2 and 4, be acted upon this evening at the adjourned meeting.

Article 5, Section 1, Support of Schools. Motion of W. E. Barden, voted that in action upon all Articles carry- ing an appropriation the receipts from that particular department be added thereto. Voted, support of schools, $9,300 and receipts.
Section 2: Voted, school books and supplies, $700.
Section 3: Voted, school incidentals, $800.
Section 4: Voted, Superintendent of Schools, $250 and receipts.
Section 5: Voted, School Physician, $50.
Section 7: Voted, Public Library, $400 and receipts.

Section 7. Upon motion of W. H. Nash it was voted that the salary of the Town Treasurer be established at $200, and that $1,375 be raised and appropriated for pay- ment of salaries.
Section 8. Voted, current and incidentals, $1,800.
Section 9. Voted, Support of Poor and Soldiers' Relief, $1,400.
Section 10. Voted, that the sum of $2,500 be raised and appropriated for highways and bridges the current year, this amount to be placed in the hands of the Select- men, they to use same for best interests of the Town.
Section 11. Voted, State and Military Aid, $100.
