Record of the Special Jawn meeting Nov. 13, 1954,


article1. Voted to transfer from the Disability assistance appropriation the sum of $500. to general Relief. article 2. baled to transfer $50. from the aid to Dependent Children appropriation to Election Expenses.


article 3. The motion was made to vairs and appropriate or transfer from available funds the Run of $2,500, for the School account. There was some discussion and it was revealed that there was a balance in the aids to Dependent Children appropriations and an amendment was offered to use $900. from this appropriation. The first motion was subsequently withdrawn and it was voted as pour the ammendment to use $900. from the aid to Dependent Children appropriation for the use of the schoole. Their it was voted to raise and appro- priate or transfer from available funds in the treasury the sum of $1600. for the use of the Schools.


article 4. There was come discussion on this article and De Roep gave a very comprehensive explanation of the subject of Regional Schools and the effect it would have upon are relations with the State if we should decide to apply for admission to any of the several Regional School Districts now available.


It was then voted to instruct the moderator to appoint three perour, one of whom shall be a member of the School Committee, to serve on are unpaid Board in accordance with

Sections 14-16 of the General Laws as ammended bey chapter 638 of the acts of 1949, said Committee to be known as the Levertt Regional School District Planning Committe. It was also voted to raise and appropriate or transfer from unappropriated available funds in the treasury the sum of $25, for the expenses of this committee for the remainder of the year.

article 27. To see whether the Town will vote to accept the following amendments to "an agreement Establishing a Regional School District Comprising the Jours of Chest and Pelham, on either of them namely
