Captn William Collins Chose to serve for and Represent the Town at the Great and Generall Coart according to precept

Allen Breed Desired the Town to sell him about thirty poole of Common Land upon the front of his one Land partly before his hous and barn & partly against his pasture near Timothy Howards Land so as not to Infring upon ye Highway nor to hinder ye Diging of Clay where is thought needfull to be Left for that End - In answer to sd Request William Basset Edmond Lewis and Henery Silsbe voted yt shall be a Committe to vew sd Land Requested and make Report to ye Town ye next Town meeting
At A Meeting of ye selectmen June ye 2d 1735 then the selectmen agreed with the wife of Nathaniel Ramsdill to Keep Lydia Farrington a poore Indegent person for one year the Town to pay her the sd Ramsdill five pounds for ye present year

Let to Jacob Tarbox the grase of ye Buring place for mowing this present year for five shilling uder the Consideration that he the sd Tarbox hath mended ye wall of ye Buring place for sum time past and is still to mend it when needs and allso for his Keeping ye widow Pudney and Daughtor one day and two nights

Ebenezer Burrill Esq was Chose Moderator of sd Meeting at the same Meeting
Voted that there shall be a tax of two hundred & forty Pounds Raised Upon poole and Estats to defray the necessary Charge arising within said Town

Wereas Allen Breed petitioned the Town to sell him about thirty pooles of Land upon the front of his own Land and a Commity ap- pointed to vew the same and make Report to ye Town : who did make Report as followeth: We have vewed two peacis of Land for Allen Breed & staked it out according as we were appointed by the Town - one of them is by his hous and Barn and contains - 30 - poles - the other is on the south side of the Brook and Joyns on Timothy Howards Land and is about : 15: pooles we thinck he may have both of said peacis without Dammage to ye Highway or neighbourhood : September ye 15th 1735 -

Aprill ye 5th 1736 then the selectmen Agreed with John Woodward to suport the Widdow Welman for fefteen shillings a week and gave him an order for the time past after ye same manner at fifteen shillings pr week and two pound two shillings for Beding and Cloathing which was £8 =17 == 0

from from the Road Leading from Salem to Reading to a heap of stons at the head of Long pond alies Capt Curwins Pond there being in the Line between the above menshoned bounds severall heaps of stons which we have Renewed and Confirmed all sd heaps of stons being in or very near the divisionall wall between Salem & Lynn & from the above sd heap of stons at the head of sd pond to near the Head of one of the branchis of spring pond on which Line there stands a stone wall from the south side of the countrey Road down to the above sd of spring pond and from thence to the other side of sd Branch to a heap of stons on the brinck of the Hill and so to the spring comonly called Lynn spring & from thence to a Larg Rock part of which stands in the Divisionall wall between Salem & Lynn on the side of which there is a heap of stons from thence to a Maple tree in the swamp with stons Round about it near two Rods southerly of sd divisinall Wall and from thence to the Countrey Road Leading from Marblhead to Lynn so on to a heap of stons about six foot southerly of John Blaney senr his hous in which Line are three heaps of stons which we have Renewed and from the sd heap of stons at sd Blaneys hous down to the sea whear is a heap of stons westward of the mouth of a Brook that Runs into the sea all which bounds we have Renewed & Confirmed as witness our hands

Essex ss Lynn November ye 17th =1736 To Henery Silsbe Con- stable of sd Lynn Whereas it appears to us ye subscribers that one Mary Thoyts singel woman was Renoved into Lynn afore said by Captn Benja Garey Late of Stoneham now an Inhabitant of sd Lynn & allthough she ought to have been under the Command of & sup- ported by the sd Garey yet notwithstanding she the sd Mary hath obsconded herself from the sd garey where she properly belongs & is thereby become Chargable to sd Lynn & by her Idol Dissolute Life is Licke to be more so if not prevented
these are therfore to order you the sd Henery Silsbe forthwith to take the sd Mary Thoyts & her Conuay unto the sd Capt Benja Garey that she may be Under the care of & supported by him that
