Voted that there shall be a tax of one hundred pound to defray the nessesary Charg of sd Town at the same Meeting
Whereas Mr Nathaniel Cutler of Medway in the County of Suffolk in the Province of the Massachusetts Bay in New England hus- bandman did purchas a track of Land Lying Within the Township of Medway afore sd Which was once the Land of one Simon John-

son Late of sd Medway Now Deseased & the sd Simon Died Leaving no Issew nor Heirs saveing severall sisters all of which Except one namely Elizabeth Johnson have quited their Righ in the afore sd Land & ye sd Elizabeth allways Lived in the Town of Lynn Untill she Dyed & it so hapned that for about seven years before she De- seased she fell into Destracktion & thereby Rendered uncapable of Quitting her Right in sd Land & haveing no Estate of her owne to support her self nor any Relation Ablidged the Town were ablidged & Did support her in that Destrackted Condition Untill she Dyed & then was at the Charge of Burying her: & now the sd Nathaniel Cutler being willing to pay the Town of Lynn the sum of 35 pounds in publick Bills of Creddit as being the full worth of the sd Elizabeths Right in the above sd Land on Condition the sd Town of Lynn will aquit the sd Cutler from any Demand whatso Ever Relating to the support & Buriall of the sd Elizabeth & allso Quit Clame to all their Right tithe shere Intrest or any Demand whatso Ever in or to the Whole or any part of the afore sd Land by vertue of their haveing supported the sd Elizabeth Johnson or by any other way or means what so Ever : and haveing Now Received the afore sd sum of 35 pounds in publick Bills of Creddet on the Condition afore sd

Whereas the body of the Town Complain they are in great want of Bulls being Kept in sd Bounderies as hath bin in years past that is to say from the Great Bridg so through the body of the Town & those near to it to wit the Newmans John farringtons Eben Tarbox Isaac Latherbe Capt Collins Crispus Richards & so all within sd bounderys Except Squir Burrill & the farmes beyond him: Therefore Voted that the Assessors shall at the time when they make the Town Rate assess Each person within sd Boundery at two shillings a Cow and to be added to their Town Rate & the Constables to Collect Sd money and pay it according to orders from ye selectmen as hath bin in years past and Capt Jacob Newhall Capt John Fuller and Zaccheus Collins are Chose a Committe to order Who shall Keep said Bulls & how many & how much they shall have a peace for sd Bulls a year
