The following report was rendered by the Board of Health': To the Honorable Board of Selectmen: -
At the Town Meeting in March 1917, the Board of Health was asked to report at this time on a plan for the disposal of garbage.
Inasmuch as we have waived temporarily some of the re- strictions in regard to the keeping of hens and swine, and to further the interests of our citizens, even in a small way, in the conservation of all food material, also from the fact that the collectors of garbage are now licensed, we have thought it best to suggest to the Town that action upon this matter be deferred for at least a year.
Voted, at 6.15 p. m., That the meeting be dissolved.
The foregoing is a true copy of the Warrant and of the Officer's return on the same, also a true record of the doings of the meet- ing.
