WARRANT FOR STATE AND NATIONAL ELECTION NOVEMBER 3, 1936
COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS

To John J. Buchanan, a Constable of the Town of Chelmsford,
GREETING :
In the name of the Commonwealth you are hereby required to notify and warn the Inhabitants of said Chelmsford who are qualified to vote in elections to meet in their several polling places, viz :
Precinct One, Town Hall, Chelmsford Centre.
Precinct Two, Town Hall, North Chelmsford.
Precinct Three, Fire House, West Chelmsford.
Precinct Four, School House, East Chelmsford.
Precinct Five, Liberty Hall, South Chelmsford.
Precinct Six, Golden Cove School House, Westlands.
On Tuesday the Third Day of November, 1936 being the first Tues- day after the First Monday in said month, at ten o'clock A. M. for the following purposes :
To bring in their votes for the following officers :
Presidential Electors.
Governor of this Commonweath.
Lieutenant-Governor for this Commonwealth.
Secretary for this Commonwealth.
Treasurer for this Commonwealth.
Auditor for this Commonwealth.
Attorney General for this Commonwealth. Senator in Congress. Congressman for the Fifth Congressional District.
Councillor for the Sixth Councillor District.
Senator in the eighth Senatorial District.
One Representative in the General Court for the 11th Middlesex Dist. Register of Probate and Insolvency for Middlesex County. Treasurer for the County of Middlesex.

VACANCIES
To fill the vacancy for the office of Clerk of Courts for Middlesex County.
And to act upon the following matters :
1. Acceptance of the following, "Law Proposed by Initiative Peti- tion," Proposed Law,
QUESTIONS
To obtain a full expression of opinion, voters should vote on all three of the following questions :
(a) If a voter desires to permit the sale in this Town of any beverages to be drunk on and off the premises where sold, he will vote "Yes" on all three questions.
(b) If he desires to permit the sale herein of wines and malt bever- ages only to be drunk on and off the premises where sold, he will vote "No" on question one and "Yes" on question two and "No" on question three.
(c) If he desires to permit the sale herein of all alcoholic beverages but only in packages, so-called not to be drunk on the premises where sold, he will vote "No" on question one and two and "Yes" on question three.
(d) If he desires to permit the sale herein of wines and malt bever- ages to be drunk on and off the premises where sold in addition to other alcoholic beverages but only in packages, so-called, not to be drunk on the premises where sold, he will vote "No" on question one and "Yes" on question two and three.
(e) If he desires to prohibit the sale herein of any and all alco- holic beverages whether to be drunk on or off the premises where sold, he will vote "No" on all three questions.
No. 1. Shall licenses be granted in this town for the sale therein of all alcoholic beverages (whiskey, rum, gin, malt beverages, wines and all other alcoholic beverages) ?
No. 2. Shall licenses be granted in this town for the sale therein of wines and malt beverages (wines and beer, ale and all other malt beverages) ?
No. 3. Shall licenses be granted in this town for the sale therein of all alcoholic beverages in packages (so called) (not to be drunk on the premises) ?

The polls will be open from ten o'clock A. M. to eight o'clock P. M.
And you are directed to serve this Warrant by posting attested copies thereof seven days at least before the time of said meeting, as directed by vote of the Town.
Hereof Fail Not and make return of this Warrant with your doings thereon at the time and place of said meeting.
