UNDER ARTICLE FORTY ONE: On a motion made by John L. Dusseault, it was voted to accept a portion of the easterly section of Hornbeam Hill Road as laid out by the Selectmen and shown by their report and plan filed in the office of the Town Clerk on Feb. 26, 1948.

UNDER ARTICLE FORTY FIVE :: On a motion made by John E. Johnson it was voted to dismiss this article in regard to the park- ing lot at Chelmsford Centre.


UNDER ARTICLE FORTY SIX: In regard to the appropri- ation for money for parking lot at Chelmsford Centre, it was voted to dismiss this article.


UNDER ARTICLE FORTY SEVEN: In regard to the parking lot at North Chelmsford it was voted to dismiss this article.


UNDER ARTICLE FORTY EIGHT: In regard to the appro- priation for money in regard to the parking lot at North Chelmsford, it was voted to dismiss this article.


It was voted to accept the report of the School Committee and the report of Superintendent of Schools for the year 1946.


Voted to adjourn this meeting at 12:18 A. M., Tuesday, March 9th, 1948.

GREETING:


In the name of the Commonwealth you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of said Chelmsford, who are qualified to vote in elections, to meet in their several polling places viz:


Precinct One-Town Hall, Chelmsford Centre


Precinct Two-Town Hall, North Chelmsford


Precinct Three-Fire House, West Chelmsford

Do you approve of the adoption of an amend- ment to the constitution summarized below which was approved by the General Court in a joint session of the two branches held June 28, 1945, received 227 votes in the affirmative and 0 in the negative, and in a joint session of the two branches held June 9, 1947, received 232 votes in the affirmative and 8 in the negative ?

This proposed amendment to the Constitution adds to the decla- ration of the rights of the inhabitants, as now set forth in the Consti- tution, the following: "The right of free speech shall not be abridged."
