Parking restrictions were voted by the Board applicable to. streets and roads in the vicinity of our beaches during the summer months. These parking restrictions during certain hours were im- posed on Humphrey Street from the Monument to Millett Road. They

were designed to relieve traffic congestion in the area and reserve the local beaches for the use of the residents of the town to the fullest extent possible. These regulations were highly successful in the accomplishment of these purposes and were of advantage to our local merchants and business men.

Article 17. To see if the town will vote to authorize the Park Department to purchase a used one and one-half ton truck and to appropriate money for this purpose. or take any action relative thereto. Sponsored by the Board of Park Commissioners.

Article 40. To see if the town will vote to dispose of its ashes, paper and other waste material by dumping, incinerator or other- wise and appropriate a sum of money necessary for the same. Spon- sored by the Board of Health.


Article 41. To see if the town will vote to resurface Magnolia Road and appropriate money therefor, or take any action relative thereto. Sponsored by the Board of Selectmen.
