Voted, That all taxes shall become due and payable on or before the tenth day of October next, and that the Collec- tor be instructed to collect forthwith, according to law, all taxes remaining. unpaid after that date, with interest at the rate of six per cent. per annum, and that the salary of the Collector be the same as last year, six mills on the dollar.

ART. 51. Voted, To accept the report of the Selectmen upon the laying out of a widening and relocation of a portion of Broad Street, from land of Francis B. Mullen to land of the heirs of John McCarthy.

ART. 53. Voted, To raise and appropriate the sum of $200, to copy and publish the Vital Records (Births, Marriages and Deaths) of the town of Weymouth.
Voted, That the matter be left with the Town Clerk.
ART. 54. Voted, That the town hereby authorizes an increase of its water loan debt for the purposes stated in Sec. 4 of Chap. 174, of the Acts of the Legislature, passed in the year of our Lord, 1881, to an amount not exceeding $50,000, by virtue of and in accord-

ance with the provisions of an Act passed by the Legislature, in the year 1903, entitled, " An Act to authorize the Town of Wey- mouth to make an additional water loan," which said act was approved by the Governor, Feb. 27, 1903, and that the Town Treasurer is hereby instructed to cause to be made fifty coupon bonds of this town, each for the sum of $1,000, as principal, payable in thirty years, from the first day of May, in the year in which, respectively, they shall be issued, and bearing that date, with interest payable semi-annually, at the rate of 32 per cent. per annum, to be denominated on its face, " Weymouth Water Loan," and each bond to be sealed with its corporate seal, and to be signed in its behalf by its treasurer, and countersigned by the chairman of its Board of Selectmen; and that said treasurer is hereby instructed to issue said bonds in such amounts as the Board of Water Commissioners for this town shall by vote, from time to time request, and that all of these bonds, before issue, shall be approved by said Board of Water Commissioners, and signed by the Clerk of said Commissioners in attestation of such approval. Also, that such bonds may be sold, or any portion of them, by the Treasurer of the Town, with the approval of its Board of Water Commissioners, either at public or private sale, or pledged by him with like approval, as collateral for money borrowed for the purposes authorized by said Act of the Legisla- ture passed in the year 1903 ; and that said Treasurer shall hold the moneys received from the sale (or pledge) of said bonds, subject to the appropriation thereof already made, or which may be made, by vote of the town, for the purposes herein above named.

ART. 56. Voted, That the Veteran Firemen's Association have the use of the Engine Halls of Weymouth for their meetings at the actual expense of lighting and heating.

ART. 58. Voted, To raise and appropriate $200 for the observance of Old Home Week, and that the Weymouth Histor- ical Society be a committee to make arrangements for same.

In the name of the Commonwealth, you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of Weymouth aforesaid, qualified to vote in elections therein, to meet at Odd Fellows Opera House, East Weymouth, on Monday, the fifteenth day of June, instant,

at eight o'clock in the evening, then and there to act upon the fol- lowing articles, namely :-
Article 1. To choose a Moderator.
Art. 2. To see if the town will authorize its Selectmen to contract in its behalf with the Massachusetts Highway Commission for the construction of Main Street and the portion of Washington Street between Main Street and Lincoln Square, as a State High- way.
Art. 3. To see if the town will vote to accept the provisions of Sections one to five, inclusive, of Chapter one hundred and one of the Revised Laws, empowering the Selectmen to enforce the removal of burnt, dilapidated or dangerous buildings.
Art. 4. To see if the town will vote to accept the provisions of Sections one hundred seventy-eight to one hundred eighty, in- clusive, of Chapter one hundred and two of the Revised Laws, concerning the granting of licenses for the keeping open and maintaining of picnic groves.
Art. 5. To see if the town will authorize its Selectmen to pur- chase a portable stone crusher and bins, and make a suitable appropriation for the same, or act in any manner in relation thereto.
Art. 6. To see what provision the town will make for a defi- ciency in the appropriation for the new school house in North Weymouth.
And you are directed to serve this warrant by posting copies thereof, attested by you in writing, in two public places in each voting precinct in said town seven days at least before the time of holding said meeting.
Hereof fail not, and make due return of this warrant with your doings thereon to the Town Clerk of said town, at or before the time of said meeting.

SPECIAL TOWN MEETING.
Pursuant to the foregoing warrant a legal meeting of the inhab- itants of the town of Weymouth was held at the Odd Fellows Opera House, East Weymouth, on Monday, June 15, 1903, the meeting being called to order at 8 o'clock in the evening, and the warrant read by the Town Clerk.
Article 1. Hon. Louis A. Cook was elected Moderator by bal- lot, the check list being used in the election.

The undersigned, Town Clerk of Weymouth, met the Town Clerk of Braintree, at Braintree, at 12 o'clock at noon, Friday, Nov. 13, 1903, the time and place appointed for the Clerks of the Sixth Norfolk District to meet to examine the returns of votes cast in said district for Representatives to General Court, and found that Horace R. Drinkwater, of Braintree, and George L. Barnes, of Weymouth, having received the largest number of votes, were duly elected, and so certified according to law.
