It is with regret that I am obliged to record the removal by death of two of our faithful and efficient teachers. Miss Melville had taught in Weymouth over ten years and Miss Walsh for seventeen years. Both teachers put their best efforts into their work and received well-merited praise for their success. Not only the home circle but the community for which they toiled miss their helpful presence.

CLASS ODE.
To-day our school life has an end, That time so dear to every heart ; As chance companions for a time, So we have met, so we must part.
CHORUS. Though widely sundered we may be, Each on his own life-work intent,
Forever more our thoughts shall turn Toward happy days in school-time spent.
We look to-day upon the past, Of joy and grief, of dark and fair; We go to-morrow into life, To meet the test that waits us there.
Our faithful teachers and our friends We bid a sad farewell to-day, Yet shall their memory cheer our path Where'er through life we take our way. LENNA ALBERTA SMITH.
