CHARLES B. CUSHING,

Town Accountant.

REPORT OF OVERSEERS OF THE POOR.

The Overseers of the Poor of the Town of Weymouth respect- fully submit the following report for the year ending December 31, 1909, together with a list of those who have been inmates of the home for the whole or a portion of the year.

The omission of the names of those who are aided or supported by public charity is becoming the common practice in the reports of boards of overseers.

Trusting, however, that the publication of the list serves a better purpose than the mere satisfying of an idle curiosity we continue the practice.

TOWN HOME AND FARM.

An agreement was entered into with Joseph Cummings and wife by which they continue in charge as Superintendent and Matron of the Home for a term ending April 1, 1910, at the same salary as for the preceding year, viz : $1,000.00

The general condition at the Home remains unchanged, execpt that there is a somewhat increased number of inmates, which has occasioned correspondingly increased expenditure for maintenance.

There have been fifty-four different inmates, of whom ten were boarders or chargeable to other towns or cities or to the State.

Of the above, there remain at the close of the year thirty-six, of whom two are boarders.
