Art. 16. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for the construction and equipment of an addition to the Bicknell . FIRE DEPARTMENT
Art. 21. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for the construction of a new Fire Station in Ward 2 and to take any other action in relation thereto.
POLICE DEPARTMENT
Art. 22. To see if the Town will vote to install (4) four traffic lights; one at Central Square, one at Washington and Middle Streets, one at Lovell's Corner and one at Nash's Corner: the installations to be done by the General Electric Company. To raise and appropriate a sufficient sum of money for the same or take any other action in relation thereto.

Art. 26. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate to build and maintain a bath house on the beach of Great Hill Park. or take any other action in relation thereto.
Art. 27. To see if the Town will purchase or take by right of eminent domain, for park purposes, certain lots of land off Lake Street bordering on Whitman's Pond now owned by Wingate & Brown, or take any other action in relation thereto.
Art. 28. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate to care and keep in good order and to protect by proper fences any or all burying grounds within the Town in which ten or more bodies are interred and which are not properly cared for by the owners, or take any other action in reference thereto.
STREETS AND DRAINAGE
Art. 29. To see if the Town will accept a deed of property from the Stetson Shoe Corporation for a strip of land between Front and Main Streets to be used for street purposes, and will accept the report of the Selectmen laying the same out as a Town way, or take any other action in reference thereto.
Art. 30. To see if the Town will accept the several reports of the Selectmen, laying out as Town ways the following designated private ways, or any of them, to wit:
Beals Street
Lochmere Avenue
Hibiscus Avenue
Manatee Road
Oakcrest Road
Puritan Road
Randall Avenue

and will authorize the Board of Selectmen to acquire by gift or take by right of eminent domain an easement of all purposes of a public street and highway in and over each of said streets as so laid out. or take any other action in relation thereto, and to see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for the working of each of the above named streets

including the acquisition of the easements referred to in the previous article, or take any other action in relation thereto.
Art. 31. ON PETITION: To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for the repairs of the southerly end of Rosemont Road, from Evans Street to the Weymouth Fore River line.
Art. 32. To see if the Town will accept the report of the Selectmen on the relocation of Middle Street from Washington Street to Nash's Corner; and to see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for the cost of construc- tion and for the acquisition of any land that may be necessary to take, or take any other action in relation thereto.
Art. 33. ON PETITION: To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for the widening and straightening of Summer Street, the southerly end, or take any other action in relation thereto.

Art. 43. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for the payments of awards made by the Selectmen under provisions of Chapter 299 of the Acts of 1928, or take any other action in reference thereto.
Art. 44. ON PETITION: To see what sum of money the. Town will vote to raise and appropriate to reimburse Lucy J. Hackett for land taken from her property at the corner of Union Street and May Terrace, in the widening of May Terrace, South. Weymouth, or take any other action in relation thereto.
LIGHTING
Art. 45. To see if the Town will authorize the Electric Light Committee to contract with the Weymouth Light & Power Company for the furnishing of lights for the Town, or take any other action in relation thereto.
Art. 46 ON PETITION: To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for an increase in the lighting of Commercial and Jackson Squares, also Broad Street to and inclusive of Central Square.
SEWERAGE AND GARBAGE
Art. 47. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for the purpose of completing the work of the Committee on Sewerage, or take any other action in relation thereto.
Art. 48. To see what action the Town will take with respect to the collection and removal of garbage, rubbish and ashes in the Town, or take any other action in relation thereto.

ON PETITION: To see if the Town will authorize the Board of Selectmen to advertise for Bids for the Collection and Disposal of Garbage for a period of three (3) years, said bids not to exceed $45,000. per year, and to raise and appropriate said amount. Bids to be advertised for within sixty (60) days after Annual Town Meeting, or take any other action in relation thereto.
Art. 51. ON PETITION: To see if the Town will authorize the Board of Selectmen to advertise for Bids for the Collection and Removal of Ashes and Rubbish for a period of three (3) years, Bids not to exceed $25,000. per year and to raise and appropriate said amount. Bids to be advertised for within sixty (60) days after annual Town Meeting, or take any other action in relation thereto.
MISCELLANEOUS ARTICLES
Art. 52. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money to provide permanent quarters, for Wessagussett Post No. 1399 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. this is in accordance with Chapter 40, General Laws.
Art. 53. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the appointment of a committee to arrange for the Town's participa- tion in the Massachusetts Bay Tercentenary celebration of 1930, and to see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for the expenses of such a committee, or take any other action in relation thereto.
Art. 54. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for the revision to date of the town map published in 1915 and to have lithograph copies made of same or take any other action in relation thereto.
Art. 55. To see if the Town will vote to make the present Committee on Town Forest a Committee on Planting and re- placing of shade trees throughout the Town, or take any other action in relation thereto.

The polls will be closed at four o'clock in the afternoon.
You are directed to serve this warrant by posting a copy thereof, attested by you in writing in each of two public places in each voting precinct in said town, seven days at least before the time for holding the first meeting called for in this warrant.
Hereof fail not, make due return of this warrant with your doings thereon to the Town Clerk of said Town on or before the Twenty-third day of February, 1929.

ANNUAL TOWN MEETING
East Weymouth, March 4, 1929
Pursuant to the within warrant the Annual Meeting of the Town of Weymouth, represented by its duly elected and qualified Town Meeting Members, was held at the hall of the Weymouth High School, on Middle Street, East Weymouth, on Monday, the fourth day of March, A. D. 1929.
The meeting was called to order at 7:45 o'clock in the evening, George L. Barnes, Annual Moderator, presiding, the Moderator requested the Town Clerk to read the warrant for said meeting, after reading the call for the meeting, it was voted: that the further reading of the articles in the warrant be omitted, as each Town Meeting Member had a copy of the warrant, the clerk then read the last three paragraphs of the warrant and the attestation of the Constable who served the warrant. 179 Town Meeting Members being present, more than a legal quorum.
Before proceeding to the business of the warrant, Thomas V. Nash was sworn as a Town Meeting Member.
Francis W. Rea moved and it was so voted: That Rev. Stanley Marple, pastor of the First Church in Weymouth be invited to the platform and invoke divine blessings upon the deliberations of this meeting, he came to the platform and per- formed that duty.
Article 1. Voted that the reading of the motions be dis- pensed with as each Town Meeting Member had a copy thereof.
William B. Dasha moved that each item under this article be taken up separately and discussed.

Lida M. McFeaters moved: That of this sum the School Committee provide transportation for the children of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades to the Pond Street School, living on the west side of Great Pond. The motion was lost by vote of the members present.
Item 32. Support of Tufts Library and its branches, including $1,200 for a reading room at the Fogg Library, in addition to said sum the income of the Quincy Tufts, Augustus J. Richards, Joseph E. Trask, Susannah Hunt Stetson, Charles Q. Tirrell, Francis Flint Forsaith and Charles Henry Pratt funds are hereby appropriated for the purposes specified by their respective donors, and of the above sum $50. shall be available for travelling expenses of its officers or employees outside the Common- wealth in securing information upon matters which may tend to improve the service in said department.
