PETITION FOR RECOUNT
To the Registrars of Voters of the Town of Weymouth:
We, the undersigned, voters in the Town of Weymouth, represent that we have reason to believe and do believe that the records or copies of records made by the Election Officers of said Town of the Repub- lican ballots cast at the State Primary on September 17, 1940 for the office of Representative in General Court are erroneous in this respect :
That Everett E. Callahan of Weymouth was credited with more votes than were cast for him, and that Albert E. Roberts of Braintree was credited with less votes than were cast for him, and we believe that a recount of the ballots cast in said Town will affect the election of -
Raymond P. Palmer of Braintree John H. Cahill of Braintree
Everett E. Callahan of Weymouth
Beatrice E. Nichols of Quincy
Daniel L. O'Donnell of Weymouth
Albert E. Roberts of Braintree
Albert R. Schofield of Weymouth Burgess H. Spinney of Weymouth
We, therefore, request that the Republican votes cast for such can- didates for Representative in General Court be recounted.
