Meeting called to order at 7:45 o'clock P. M. by Moderator O'Connell, who read the call for the meeting.
On motion by Mr. Jordan :
Voted: That further reading of the warrant with the exception of the Constable's Return be omitted. Constable's Return read.
ARTICLE 1
Article 1. To raise and appropriate sufficient money to pay pension for current year to ex-officer Frank H. Robinson, under authority of Chap- ter 103 Acts of 1936 and provide for the payment thereof by any legal method. -Board of Selectmen.
On motion by Finance Committee:
Voted: That Frank H. Robinson be retired as a police officer on an an- nual pension; and that the town raise and appropriate the sum of $657 to pay such pension for the balance of the current year.
ARTICLE 2
Art. 2. To see if the town will ratify the sale of the premises at No. 17 Valley St. held under foreclosed tax title by the Treasurer for $1,025 .- Board of Selectmen.
On motion by Finance Committee:
Voted: That the town ratify the sale by the Treasurer of the premises described in Article 2, for the sum of $1,025.
ARTICLE 3
Art. 3. To see if the town will authorize the Selectmen to accept on behalf of the town, deeds of land at intersections of ways for rounding of street corners .- Board of Selectmen.
On motion by Mr. Clemons:
ยท Voted: That the Board of Selectmen be and hereby are authorized to accept on behalf of the town deeds given for a nominal consideration conveying land to the town to round the corners at street intersections.

Art. 4. To hear a report of the Board of Selectmen relating to the gift

of an ambulance to the town by the members of the family of the late Joseph W. Heath in his memory and take any appropriate action thereunder.
The report of the Board of Selectmen, relating to the gift of an am- bulance to the town by members of the family of the late Joseph W. Heath, was presented by George J. Evans, Chairman, as were the following reso- lutions :
The report was accepted and adopted and the resolutions adopted by a unanimous vote.
Whereas the late Di. Joseph W. Heath was a true friend of the town of Wakefield and his services to the town and to its citizens are well re- membered and
Whereas Sarah E. Heath, Ethel J. Heath and Stanley W. Heath, being the family of Dr. Joseph W. Heath, have given to the Town of Wakefield an ambulance as a fitting and useful memorial to the memory of the late Dr. Joseph W. Heath, be it
Resolved that the Town of Wakefield shall, at this meeting, duly recog- nize the acceptance of this memorial and express its gratitude therefor to the family of the late Dr. Joseph W. Heath and be it further
Resolved that these resolutions shall be spread upon the records of this meeting, that copies thereof be distributed to the Wakefield newspapers, and that copies be presented to Sarah E. Heath, Mrs. Ethel J. Heath and Stanley W. Heath.
ARTICLE 5
Art. 5. To see if the town will raise and appropriate the sum of $200 to cover part of the expenses of rent of quarters for Corp. Charles F. Parke Camp No. 39, United Spanish War Veterans.
On motion by Finance Committee:
Voted: That the town raise and appropriate the sum of $200 to carry out the purposes of Article 5.
On motion by Mr. Clemons:
Voted: That this meeting be now dissolved.

SPECIAL TOWN MEETING, OCTOBER 26, 1936
Meeting called to order at 7:45 o'clock P. M. by Moderator O'Connell, who read the call for the meeting.
On motion by Mr. Tenney :
Voted: That further reading of the warrant with the exception of the Constable's Return be omitted.

ARTICLE 1
Article 1. To see if the town will accept the provisions of Chapter 15 of the Acts of 1930 entitled "An Act Relative to Reserve Police Forces in Certain Towns" and determine the number of members of such reserve police force established under said Chapter 15 .- Board of Selectmen.
Voted: That the town accept the provisions of Section 13A of Chapter 147 of the General Laws as amended by Chapter 15 of the Acts of 1930, es- tablishing a reserve police force and the number of members thereof be fixed at six.
An amendment by Mr. Frankel was not seconded.
ARTICLE 2
Art. 2. To see if the town will vote to change the name of Grand Pass- way to Butler Avenue, or what they will do about it .- Frank A. Butler, Arthur E. Schelfisch, et al.
On motion by Mr. Vik:
Voted: That the name of the Public Way called Grand Passway be changed to Butler Avenue.
ARTICLE 3
Art. 3. To see if the town will vote to transfer to the Reserve Fund the following appropriation balances:
