Ninety pupils had work displayed at the Taft Public Library during National Art Week in November. Last Spring several girls from Grade Eight made and painted the backdrop for the Stephen Foster musical presented by the school.

This year, in addition to the regular Mechanical Drawing class, there are three high school pupils who are taking Advanced Mechanical Drawing. They have been working on sectional drawings, surface development and architectural drawing.

I wish to thank you, Mr. Rowe, the School Commit- tee, Mr. Clough, and the teachers in Mendon for such fine cooperation in the art program for our school.

Respectfully submitted, E. JANE COLEMAN.
