ARTICLE 27. To see if the town will instruct the Selectmen in relation to licensing the sale of intoxicating liquors, or act thereon.


ARTICLE 28. To see if the town will instruct the Selectmen of the town for the ensuing year not to grant licenses for the sale of intoxicat- ing liquors other than druggists' licenses, or act thereon.


ARTICLE 29. To see if the town will vote to fix the compensation of town officers and laborers, or act thereon.


ARTICLE 30. To see if the town will raise and appropriate the sum of $32.55 to refund to John O. Mckinstry for the construction of sidewalk on Pleasant street, or act thereon.


ARTICLE 31. To see if the town will grade Park street from Elm to Everett street and build sidewalk on said street, raise and appropriate money therefor, or act thereon.


ARTICLE 32. To see what action the town will take in regard to enlarging the almshouse, to raise and appropriate money therefor, or act thereon.


And you are directed to serve this warrant by publishing an attested copy of the same in the Southbridge JOURNAL the two weeks next pre- ceding the time of holding the meeting as previously mentioned. Hereof fail not and make due returu of this warrant, with your doings thereon, to the Town Clerk, at the time and place heretofore indicated.
