ART. 42. To determine what sum of money the Town shall raise by general tax to defray town expenses, interest, debt and State Aid, and make an appropriation for the same.
And you will notify and warn the legal voters of the Town of Arlington to meet at the time and at the places herein speci- fied, by leaving at every dwelling house in the Town a printed copy of this warrant, and also by posting a copy of the same at the doors of the Town Hall, and in five or more conspicuous public places in the Town, seven days at least prior to the time of said meeting.

Following the announcement of results of the balloting, petitions were filed with the Registrars of Voters asking for a recount of the ballots cast for the offices of Selectman, Member of the Board of Public Works and Member of the School Com- mittee for the two-year term. TOWN RECORDS
ADJOURNED TOWN MEETING, MARCH 24, 1920
Pursuant to adjournment the citizens of Arlington qualified to vote in town affairs met in the Town Hall in said Town on Wednesday the twenty-fourth day of March, 1920, at eight o'clock in the evening, and were called to order by the moderator, Jacob Bitzer.
On motion of Frank A. O'Brien, chairman of the Finance Committee, Article 4 was taken up.
Article 4. (Reports of Selectmen and Town officers.)
Voted (On motion of Olvin H. Lufkin), That the reports of the Selectmen and the various town officers as presented in the Town Reports together with the addition of the tables of statistics of assessors and committees heretofore appointed be accepted.
Edwin W. Goodwin presented the report of the committee appointed January 19, 1920, to procure plans and estimates for school buildings in various parts of the Town. The report was presented in printed form and had been distributed to all the citizens. The report was received and the subject matter laid on the table to be later taken up and considered with Article 31 of the warrant.
