(4) No person shall pasture any cattle or other animals upon any street or public way in said town either with or without a keeper except within the limits of such way adjoininig his own premises.


(5) No person sball without a license from the Selectmen place or cause to be placed, or suffer to remain within the limits of a street or upon any sidewalk, any wood, lumber, stone, manure or vehicle so as to obstruct public travel.


(6) All pedlers and junk dealers shall not be allowed to do business in the town unless they are granted a license for the same by the Board of Selectmen.


The annual town meeting for the election of town officers shall be held on the second Monday in March of each year.

The librarian reports 49 individuals from South Lynnfield soliciting use of books, and 194 from Lynnfield Centre. Total number books loaned during year 3,146. Received from fines, etc., $14.70.


Library cards and catalogues may be obtained in South Lynn- field at the home of Mr. E. Q. Moulton, Broadway, where books are received and exchanged weekly.


The sum of $500, the remainder of the George L. Hawkes Library Fund, which was loaned to the town some years ago, was this year returned to the trustees, who have deposited the same in the Suffolk Savings Bank of Boston.


The sum of $1000, known as the Mary U. Nash Library Fund, is on deposit at the Medford Savings Bank in addition to interest due on same for past year.

The sum of $2000, known as the George N. Blake Library Fund, has been invested by the Town Treasurer as shown in his report, making a total of $3500 Library Trust Funds.

Town Warrant.


ESSEX, SS.


To either of the constables of the town of Lynnfield, in said County of Essex. GREETING :


In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts you are hereby directed to notify and warn the inhabitants of the town of Lynnfield, qualified to vote in elections and in town affairs, to meet at the Town Hall in said Lynnfield, on Monday, March 11, A. D. 1907, at 11.30 o'clock in the forenoon, thon and there to bring in their votes on one ballot for the choice of all necessary town officers for the ensuing year, chosen in this manner. Also to give in their votes in answer to the question : Shall license be granted for the sale of intoxicating liquors in this town? The form of ballot in answer to that question to be " Yes," " No "


The polls on this ballot to open at 11.30 A. M. and close at 4 P. M., unless otherwise ordered by vote of the town.


Upon a separate ballot for the use of women qualified to vote according to law, to vote for members of the School Committee to give in their votes for one member of the School Committee for a term of three years.


Also to act on the following articles :


Article 1. To choose a moderator to preside at said meeting. Art. 2. To choose all other necessary town officers.


Art. 3. To see if the town will vote to elect three commission- ers to take charge of all trust funds of the town. One for one year, one for two years and one for three years.


Art. 4 To see if the town will instruct the Selectmen to divide the town into voting precincts or take any action in the matter.


Art. 5. To see if the town will revise and accept the jury list as prepared by the Selectmen.

Art. 6. To appoint a time when the Collector of Taxes shall settle his account.


Art. 7. To see if the town will authorize its Treasurer under the direction of the Selectmen, to hire money to meet the demands of the town in anticipation of taxes for the ensuing year.


Art. 8. To see if the town will authorize the Collector of Taxes to charge interest at the rate of 6 per cent. on all taxes not paid November 1st, 1907.


Art. 9. To see what disposal the town will make of the money refunded by the County from the dog tax.


Art. 10. To raise and appropriate money for the repair of Highways for the ensuing year.


Art. 11. To raise and appropriate money for the support of Schools, High School tuition and transportation of scholars for the ensuing year.


Art. 12. To see if the town will raise and appropiate a sum of money for the observance of Memorial Day and determine how same shall be expended.


Art. 13. To raise and appropriate money for necessary Town Expenses for the ensuing year.


Art. 14. To see if the town will raise and appropriate a sum of money for the use of the Tree Warden.


Art. 15. To see if the town will raise and appropriate a sum of money for the use of the Cemetery Commissioners.


Art. 16. To see if the town will raise and appropriate a sum of money for the use of the Fire Department.


Art. 17. To see if the town will raise and appropriate the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars for the continuation of the side walk on Main street.


Art. 18. To see if the town will raise and appropriate the sum of three hundred dollars to suppress the Gypsy and Brown tail moth.


Art. 19. To see if the town will raise and appropriate a sum of money for the purchase of a fire extinguisher for the South part of the town.


Art. 20. To see if the town will vote to purchase a power sprayer and appropriate money therefore.

Art. 21. To see if the town will authorize the Selectmen to establish a speed limit for Automobiles and to post signs accord- ingly.


Art. 22. To see what action the town will take in regard to medical inspection in schools and raise and appropriate money for the same.


Art. 23. To see if the town will raise and appropriate a sum of money to improve the Sanitary conditions of the Town Hall or take any action thereon.


Art. 24. To see if the town will instruct the Selectmen to order the Boston & Northern Street R. R. Co. to remove the rails from Grove street.


Art. 25. To see if the town will award damages to John S. Ashman by reason of closing of Salem street at the Wakefield and Lynnfield line or take any action thereon.


And you are directed to serve this Warrant by posting attested copies of the same at the usual places in said town, seven days at least before the time of holding said meeting.


Hereof fail not and make due return of this Warrant, with your doings thereon, to the Town Clerk, at or before the time and place of said meeting.
