The relations between teachers, superintendent, and Commit- tee have been most pleasant.
I thank the teachers for their earnest work, and for the progress- ive spirit they have shown in willingly advancing along the lines I have suggested.
I wish to express my thanks, also, to the Committee, for the large liberty they have given me in the management of the schools, for the consideration given to all my plans and sugges- tions, and for the courtesy I have always received at their hands.

WARRANT FOR TOWN MEETING.
COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS.
MIDDLESEX SS.
TO DANIEL C. NORCROSS, Constable of the town of Wilmington. Greeting.
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are di- rected to notify and warn the male inhabitants of the town of Wil- mington qualified by law to vote in town affairs to meet and assemble in the Town Hall on Monday, the sixth day of March next, at ten o'clock in the forenoon. The polls to be opened at eleven o'clock, A. M., and may be closed at four o'clock P. M., for the election of town officers and to act upon the following articles, viz :
ARTICLE I. To choose a Moderator to preside at said meeting.
ARTICLE 2. To bring in your votes on one ballot for all town officers for the year ensuing, required by law to be chosen by ballot. ARTICLE 3. To choose all other necessary town officers for the year ensuing.
ARTICLE 4. To hear reports of committees and act thereon.
ARTICLE 5. To see how much money the town will raise and appro- priate for the support of schools, school books and supplies, highways, roads and bridges, support of poor, repairs on public buildings, for improving the grounds of the common, the cemetery, public library, town officers, removing snow, mis- cellaneous expenses, also for notes payable and interest, state and county taxes and outstanding indebtedness, also for sal- ary of Superintendent of Schools.
ARTICLE 6. To see what method the town will adopt for the collec- tion of taxes.

ARTICLE 7. To see if the town will authorize the Town Treasurer, with the sanction of the Selectmen, to borrow money in anticipation of taxes, when necessary to meet current demands for the ensuing municipal year, the same to be paid out of this year's taxes.
ARTICLE 8. Shall licenses be granted for the sale of intoxicating liquors in this town? Yes or No.
ARTICLE 9. To see how much money the town will raise and appro- priate for the purpose of improving the new cemetery.
ARTICLE IO. To see how much money the town will raise and appropriate for the observance of Memorial Day.
ARTICLE 12. To see if the town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of one hundred and twenty-five dollars, for the purpose of paying Silas Buck of Andover for horse killed by drawing steamer to the Haley fire.
ARTICLE 12. To see if the town will refund the sum of twenty dollars (more or less) to Charles W. Swain and Estate of Thomas P. Eames, for taxes illegally assessed.
ARTICLE 13. To see if the town will raise and appropriate a sum of money for the purpose of erecting a new flag-staff.
ARTICLE 14. To see what action the town will take in relation to the salary of Ballot Inspectors and Deputies, also Inspector of Cattle.
ARTICLE 15. To see how much money the town will raise and appropriate for Police and Fire Departments.
ARTICLE 16. To see if the town will vote to raise and appropriate one hundred dollars for guide boards
Hereof fail not, and make due return of this warrant with your doings thereon, to the Town Clerk, at the time and place of said meeting.
