Warrant for Annual Town Meeting 1922

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
To the Inhabitants of the Town of Wolfeboro qualified to vote in Town affairs:
You are hereby notified to meet at Brewster Memorial Hall in said Town on the second Tuesday of March next at nine o'clock in the forenoon to act upon the following subjects :
ARTICLE 1. To choose a town-clerk, for the ensuing year, one Selectman for three years, two Auditors, Treasurer, Collector of Taxes, Prosecuting Liquor Agent and Constable for the ensuing year, one Library and one Trustee of Trust Funds for three years.
ARTICLE 2. To elect one or more, not exceed- ing three, highway agents, or instruct the Selectmen to appoint one expert highway agent.
ARTICLE 3. To choose all other necessary Town officers and agents.
ARTICLE 4. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the amount of money necessary to secure State Aid for the permanent improvement of highways under the law passed at the January session of the General Court 1905.
ARTICLE 5. To see if the town will vote to raise and appropriate twenty-five hundred dollars for the repairs of Highways and Bridges in addition to that required by law.
ARTICLE 6. To see what sum of money the

Town will vote to raise and appropriate for the re- demption of Town Bonds.
ARTICLE 7. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and pay each Fireman legally returned for the year 1922 in addition to that required by law.
ARTICLE 8. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for the Town Public Library in addition to that required by law.
ARTICLE 9. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate to pay Harry Harriman Post, No. 18, to defray expenses of Memorial day May 30th 1922.
ARTICLE 10. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate to aid and assist the Huggins Hospital.
ARTICLE 11. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for Town Ex- penses for the ensuing year.
ARTICLE 12. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Selectmen to hire a sum of money nec- essary to pay Town expenses in anticipation of Taxes for 1922.
ARTICLE 13. To see if the Town will vote to buy a two ton truck, raise and appropriate money for the same.
ARTICLE 14. To see if the Town will vote to Macadam Union St. and raise and appropriate money for the same.
ARTICLE 15. To see if the Town will vote to finish Sewell Road extension raise and appropriate money for the same.

ARTICLE 16. To see what action the Town will take relative to honoring our soldiers by a suitable memorial.
ARTICLE 17. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of Thirty-five hundred ($3500.) dollars to secure a like sum from the State for the Maintenance of State Aid Roads in said Town.
ARTICLE 18. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate six hundred ($600.) dollars for the Maintenance of the East Side Trunk line the State to appropriate twelve hundred (1200.) dollars.
ARTICLE 19. To see if the Town will vote to continue to Macadam Sewell St., raise and appropriate money for the same.
ARTICLE 20. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate to aid in the suppression of the Gypsy moth.
ARTICLE 21. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate to be used in connection with the State or Federal money for the suppression of the White Pine Blister Rust.
ARTICLE 22. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for the im- provement of sidewalks.
ARTICLE 23. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for the ob- servance of Old Home week 1922.
ARTICLE 24. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sufficient sum of money to put the Street leading from South Main to the Boston & Maine Railroad Station on the easterly side of Central Block in condition for dancing for the accomodation of the public.

ARTICLE 25. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for the pur- pose of providing suitable coasting and skating places and appoint a committee to carry out the vote thereof.
ARTICLE 26. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for the pur- pose of erecting a suitable boulder with a bronze marker on the Clow Hill, so-called, in memory of Governor Wentworth and appoint a committee to carry the vote into effect.
ARTICLE 27. To see if the Town will vote to name the highway leading from Brookfield town line to Wolfeboro Center The Wentworth Road.
ARTICLE 28. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate one thousand dollars ,the State contributing a like sum, to rebuild the so-called Willey Bridge.
ARTICLE 29. To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise for free public band concerts for the year 1922.
ARTICLE 30. To see if the Town will will vote to buy a Fire Motor Chemical and raise and appropri- ate a sum not to exceed eight hundred dollars and authorize the Fire Commissioners to buy the same.
ARTICLE 31. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate by bonds or notes, in the discre- tion of the Selectmen, a sum not exceeding sixty thou- sand dollars at a rate of interest not to exceed 5 per cent. to expend in building the Suncook and Ossipee higway in conjunction with the State and Federal Government, said sum so far as the Town's part is concerned to be paid as the law provides and that part in anticipation of State and Federal Government,

to be paid as funds are received from State and Fed- eral Government. Taking advantage of Chapter 163, Laws of 1917.
ARTICLE 32. To see if the Town will procure and set apart a lot of land and make the necessary im- provements thereon the same to be used as a public camping ground for our summer tourists, and to raise and appropriate money for the same.
ARTICLE 33. To see if the Town will vote to license milk dealers and fix price for the same as per Chapter 156, Laws of 1917.
ARTICLE 34. To transact any other business that may legally come before said meeting.
