STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE.
To the inhabitants of the Town of Newmarket who are qualified to vote in Town affairs :
You are hereby notified to meet at the Town House. in said town, on the second Tuesday of March next, at ten o'clock in the forenoon, to act on the following subjects :
Art. I. To choose all necessary town officers and agents for the ensuing year.
Art. 2. To see if the town will vote to pay each member of the fire de- .
partment twenty-two dollars in addition to that required by law.
Art. 3. To see what sums of money the town will vote to raise and appro- priate for rebuilding or repairing the Packer's Falls bridge and abutments.
Art. 4. To see if the town will vote to sprinkle or oil the streets during the summer of 1916, and appropriate a sufficient sum therefor.
Art. 5. To see if the town will vote to enlarge the bridges or culverts over Falls Brook, in the highways at the foot of Mill Hill and Lamprey Sts.
Art. 6. To see if the town will vote to accept or adopt the provisions of Chapter 29 of the laws of 1899 and the amendments thereto, being an act in amendment of and in addition to Chapter 73 of the Public Statutes, relating to the repairs of highways in towns.
Art. 7. To see if the town will vote to extend the water system from the corner of Ham street, so called, near the residence of Ovias Rodier, to the . right of way near the former residence of Timothy M. Joy, and raise and appropriate a sum of money therefor.
Art. 8. To see if the town will vote to change the grade of the road on Young's Hill, so called, on the road from Newmarket to Epping, by cutting down the brow of the hill, and to raise and appropriate money to carry out said change.
Art. 9. To raise such sums of money as may be necessary for the state and county taxes ; to build and repair highways and bridges; to provide . means for the extinguishment of fires ; to the support of schools ; to main- tain the Public Library ; to decorate the graves of soldiers ; to care for and keep up the cemetery ; to light the public streets and buildings : to pay the town officers ; to support the poor ; to pay bonds and interest on the town debt and to defray all other charges arising within said town.
Art. 10. To see what sums of money the town will vote to raise and ap- propriate to be expended under the direction of the Civic Department of the Woman's Club for keeping the streets clean of refuse.
Art. II. To see what sums of money the town will vote to raise and ap- propriate for band concerts during the ensuing summer.
Art. 12. To see if the town will vote to put a sidewalk between the Town Hall and the Congregational Church.
Art. 13. To see if the town will vote to provide some method of prompt response by the Fire Department to fire alarms from the farming portions of the town.
Art. 14. To see if the town will vote to place one or more street lights near "Moonlight" bridge. so called.
Art. 15. To see what action the town will take in relation to the exten- sion of a water pipe from the main pipe through Water Street, a distance of about one hundred and fifty feet, and raise and appropriate a certain sum of money therefor.
Art. 16. To transact any other business that may lawfully come before said meeting.
