Police Court Report.

LANCASTER, N. H., February 29, 1904. To the Selectmen of the Town of Lancaster:

GENTLEMEN :- I am glad to report that the busi- ness in the Lancaster Police Court has been very small for the past year. The total amount received in fines and costs was $138 89. The total amount paid out by the Court has been $70 91. The balance in my hands is $67 98, which constitutes the total amount of my sal- ary for the year.

Since the provisions of the recently enacted liquor law went into effect there has been very little drunken- ness in town if the work before the Police Court is any indication of the condition. Only one man was sent to the House of Correction from this town for that offense during the entire year.

Respectfully submitted.
