TOWN WARRANT.


THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE.


To the inhabitants of the Town of Salem, in the County of Rock- ingham, in said State, qualified to vote in town affairs :


You are hereby notified to meet at the Town House, in said Town on Tuesday, the tenth day of March next, at ten of the clock in the forenoon, to act upon the following subjects :


1. To choose a Moderator to preside in said meeting.


2. To choose all necessary Town Officers and Agents for t e year ensuing.


3. To raise such sums of money as may be necessary to de- fray town charges for the year ensuing.


4. To raise such sums of money as the town may think proper to pay the town debt or any part thereof.


5. To see if the town will vote to raise the highway tax or any part thereof in money.


6. ' To raise such sums of money as may be necessary for re- pairs of highways and bridges for the year ensuing.


7. To see what method the town will vote to adopt to facilitate the collection of taxes.


8. To hear the reports of agents, auditors, committees or offi- cers heretofore chosen and pas- any vote relating thereto.


9. By request, to see if the town will vote to grade and drain the town house yard and raise such a sum of money as may be deemed necessary for the same.

11. By request, to see if the town will vote to buy hay scales to be put in at the Centre Village and raise money for the same.


12. By request, to see if the town will vote to raise the sum of fifty dollars or any part thereof for the use of Gilman E. Sleeper Post, No. 60, G. A. R., to be expended in the observance of Memorial day of the year 1891.


13 By request, to see if the town will vote to instruct the Selectmen to request the Boston & Maine Railroad Co. to put up gates at the crossing near the passenger depot at the Depot Village.


14. By request, to see if the town will vote to raise the sum of three hundred dollars or any part thereof to be expended in re- pairing the highway in said town leading from the store of James Ewins to Salem Depot Village to be expended under the direction of the Selectmen.


15. By request, to see if the town will vote to raise the sum of three hundred dollars, or any part thereof to be expended in re- pairing the highway in said town, leading from No. 7 school house, to the State line on the road passing the house of W. H. Clark, to be expended under the direction of the Selectmen.
