THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE


To the inhabitants of the Town of Newmarket qualified to vote in town affairs:


You are hereby notified to meet at the Town House in said town on the second Tuesday of March next at ten o'clock in the forenoon, to vote upon the following subjects:


Art. 1. To choose all necessary town officers and agents for the ensuing year, including one selectman for the term of three years, one selectman for the term of two years, and one selectman for the term of one year.


Art. 2. To hear the reports of agents, auditors, and officers heretofore chosen and pass any vote in relation thereto.


Art. 3. To bring in your ballots on each of the questions submitted by the Convention to revise the Constitution relative to the Amendments proposed by said Convention at a session held January 21, 1921.


Art. 4. To raise such sums of money as may be necessary for General Government, including town officers' salaries, town officers' expenses, election and registration, and town hall; for Protection of Persons and Property, including the police department, the fire department, and moth extermination; for Health and Sanitation, including the health department, vital statistics, and sewer main- tenance; for Highways and Bridges, including state aid maintenance, town maintenance, street lighting, and general expense of the department; for Education, including the public library; for Chari- ties, including the town poor; for Patriotic Purposes, including decoration of soldiers' graves; for Recreation, including band con- certs; for Public Service Enterprises, including water utility; for Cemeteries; for Interest; for New Construction and Improvements, including state aid and town construction; for Indebtedness Pay- ment, including the payment of notes and bonds; for Payments to other Governmental Divisions, including state and county taxes; and to pay all other necessary charges arising within the town.


· Art. 5. To see if the town will vote to pay firemen, ladder- men and hosemen twenty-two dollars in addition to that required by law.


Art. 6. To see what sum of money the town will vote to raise and appropriate to complete the Memorial Band Stand.


Art. 7. To see what sum of money the town will vote to raise and appropriate for a town or district nurse.


Art. 8. To see what sum of money the town will vote to raise and appropriate to buy a stone crusher.


Art. 9. To see what sum of money the town will vote to raise and appropriate to furnish the Hook and Ladder Truck with auto power and running gear.
