During the Revolutionary War he served in the army, and died there in 1776. He m. Ist, at Holliston, Nov. 5, 1752, Mary Fairbanks, who was b. there, Sept. 28, 1730; the dau. of George and Rachel (Drury) Fairbanks; and m. 2d, May 17, 1764, Elizabeth Johnson, dau. of John and Lydia Johnson.
