PLAN OF BROADWAY.

This will enable any stranger visiting New York to find our place of business with- out the least difficulty ; and at the same time afford a valuable guide to the principal ho- tels, to the Post Office, City Hall, Park The- atre, and other public places. Persons hav- ing business with Dr. MOFFAT, should come direct to the corner of Broadway and Anthony street. A stranger in New York is never at a Loss to find the Park and City Hall, and with this map for a guide, could not then miss his way to Dr. Moffat's Office.

ORIGIN OF MOFFAT'S LIFE MEDICINES.

Mr. JOHN MOFFAT, the father of Dr. MOF- FAT, proprietor of the Life Medicines, while carrying on an extensive mercantile estab- lishment in the lower part of the city of New York, was taken ill; and so painful and protracted was his disease, that he lost all faith in the several physicians who were called to his bed-side. After months of suffer- ing he was prevailed upon to purchase, at a high price, the recipe of the invaluable vege- table preparation which he subsequently of- fered to the public as MOFFAT'S LIFE MEDI- CINES. Although the effect of these medi- cines in his own case had been most singu- larly remarkable-he having rapidly recover- ed his health after his physicians had pro- nounced him on his death-bed-yet he did not at that time anticipate so universal a popu- larity for them. He is now happy to know that his exertions in behalf of suffering hu- manity have been appreciated, as the volun- tary letters of multitudes of his fellow-citi- zens go fully to show.
