The Direct Baraft Eureka Mower .- The superiority of this ma- chine has been well attested by the Gold Medal and Premiums it received at the several trials made this season, and its peculiar advantages can be appreciated by the farming community. It is claimed that 25 per cent. is saved by its use. The Utica & Black River R. R. ) -- During the past three or four years this | Company has been extending the road northward until it has just been completed to Philadelphia, where it crosses the R. W. & O. R. R. A year ago a road was com- pleted between Carthage and Watertown, which road is now leased and operated by the U. & B. R. R. R. During next season it is expected that the road north of Phila- delphia to Morristown and Clayton will be completed. It is also expected that the Watertown branch will eventually be ex- tended to Sackets Harbor. When all these extensions shall have been com- pleted, the U. & B. R. R. R. will be one of the most important lines of travel aud transportation in the State. See card on page 303.
