The highest recommendations that could be given have been publish- ed confirmning the Salamandrine quality of
SCOTT'S IRON CHESTS.

WARRANTED,
As will be perceived by the following Certificate, from a Merchant of the first respectability in Baltimore.
This is to Certify, that the Iron Chest, of 2 feet 2 inch- es high, and 18 inches wide, which we now deliver to Mr. John Scott, of Philadelphia, (and who, we have been credibly informed, made it,) was in our counting house during the destructive fire, 15th July last, on Smith's Wharf, in this city; it contained all our important books, and several valuable papers, and also several bank notes, all of which were taken out in a safe condition, after being in the midst of the flames about 2 hours; the Chest was heated RED HOT, as its appearance still indicates.
