SANPETE COUNTY.


Sanpete is one of the most important counties in the Territory. It is bounded on the north by Wasatch and Utah counties; on the west by Millard and Juab, on the south by Sevier county, and on the east by the State of Colorado. The majority of the settlements are in the Sanpete valley, a traet of fertile land about 50 miles in length. Wheat and other cereals are produced in great abundance. SUMMIT COUNTY


This county, mountaineous in the extreme, is bounded on the north by Rich County and Wyoming Territory, on the east by the state of Colorado, on the south by Wasatch county, and on the west by Morgan and Salt Lake counties. Is bounded on the north by Box Elder county, on the east by Salt Lake and Utah counties and the Great Salt Lake, on the south by Juab county and on the west by the State of Nevada. Its principal resources are in agriculture and stock raising and mining is carried ou to a limited ex- tent.


TOOELE CITY.


The county seat is a handsome well built city containing an indus- trious and thriving populace of about 1500 souls. It is situated thirty iniles west of Salt Lake City.
