Know all Men by these presents that I Van Sweringen have Bargain'd and Sold and Delivered unto Elizabeth Zane a Certain tract or parcell of Land in Ohio County on Short Creek Adjoining the Lande for merly the property of John Warford and Daniel Harrie Including the Burnt Cabbin the Stone Cole Liok at the Forke of Said Creek and up the South Fork of Said Creek to the Out Line of said Sweringene Land Con- taining four or five hundred Acree of Land or there aboute be it more or Less, to have and to hold the Said Lands and premisses to her the Said Elizabeth Zane and her heire for Ever and if the Said Elizabeth Zane should Die Intestate then the Said Lande Shall be Invested in her Child or Children if any but if She Inclines to Sell the Same or any part thereof then She is at full Liberty to Dispose of it at her pleasure and will Patent the Said Lande for her Clear of all Incumbranoes and will by theee preeence for Ever warrant and Defend the Said Lande to her and her heire De aforsaid having Received of her the Sum of Fifty Pounds Current money in full for the Same as witness my hand and Seal this Sixth day of May 1784 Test Van Sweringen
