Cunningham. John, James, William. and (Phoebe -- ), pioneers on the North Fork in 1753, were seemingly brothers, and are said to have come from Dublin, Ireland, just before that time. The families of these three we are not able to place, except in the case of James (Margaret --- ), who died 1765, leaving Moses, Hugh, Elizabeth, Jacob, and Isaac. Hugh had a son, name unknown. We have mention of James, a son of Jacob, and John, a son of Isaac, and of Jacob and John having a son each. Another son of one of the pioneers was William (Sarah -). James (Agnes ---? )-b. 1741-captured, 1758, and held
