These companies have for sale or for disposal under the Carey-Act Homestead Law 60.000 acres of farm land under Irrigation with perpet- ual water. The lands and water are sold either for cash outright or on easy terms on long time on the installment plan, the water is sold on easy terms for lands entered under the Carey Act.
ACCESSIBILITY
The lands are part of the Wheatland Colony in the center of which is situated the town of Wheatland on the Colorado & Southern road. 90 miles north of Cheyenne. With the surrounding country. as also with the outer world the town is in close touch through the Bell Telephone and Western Union Telegraph Systems.
AGRICULTURE
The lands offered for sale are fertile and all the grains, grasses, clovers and other crops, including sugar beets. are successfully produced.
INDUSTRIES
Here is located one of the finest flour mills of the State. This milling company pays Denver prices each day for the grains. The town has a good creamery, alfalfa mill and adequate mercantile and farm machinery establishments. Moreover, it has a water system for domestic purposes and owns an electric light plant.
INSTITUTIONS-Educational and Religious
The Colony has an efficient school system with modern school build- ings. Has a Carnegic library. There are six religious organizations of different denominations, nearly all of which have good church build- ings. There are also two well-equipped hospitals. For further information address the

WHEATLAND.
County seat of Platte county, 90 miles north of Cheyenne on line of Colorado & Southern Railroad. It is the supply and dis- tributing point for the irrigated lands of Wyoming Development Company, comprising 100,000 acres. The principal products are grain. hay and live stock. The town is also tributary to one of the best small ranch districts of the state, the stock growing in- dustry being confined principally to sheep. Wheatland was started in 1895, and has maintained a steady and healhtful growth. It has a population of 1,200, and all lines of business are well rep- resented. Has a new $60,000 court house and new library build- ing. The altitude of the district is 4.700 feet, and the climate mild and healthful. The town is 20 miles east of the Laramie mountains, where promising copper mines are being developed.

An incorporated town, county seat of Washakie county, on the Big Horn river, 165 miles south of Bill- ings, Montana, on the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad, on its through line from its connection with the Northern Pacific Railroad to Denver and the southwest. It is a town of 1,225 population, 4,000 feet above sea level, and is growing rapidly. Stock raising, farming and sugar beet growing are the principal industries of the surrounding territory. The oil industry is also being developed.
