ALUMNI OF THE SCHOOL OF JURISPRUDENCE AND DIPLOMACY.
The Department of Comparative Jurisprudence and Diplomacy was opened in 1898. For a number of years it was closely affiliated with the Law Department, but in 1905 ceased to have any organic connection with that Department, and the name was changed to the Department of Politics and Diplomacy. In 1907 it became the College of Political Sciences of the Department of Arts and Sciences and a few years later the College of the Political Sciences became a part of Columbian College.
The most important courses of study that were given under the Department of Comparative Jurisprudence and Diplomacy and its successors are now given either in the Law School or Colum- hian College.
The Department of Comparative Jurisprudence and Diplomacy had jurisdiction over the degrees of LL. M., M. Dip. and D. C. L. Those who received the degree of LL. M. are listed under the Law School and the others are given here.
