Report of mission work in Southern Iowa for the year end- ing Oct. 1, 1911: The work is in a prosperous condition. This seems to be a banner year. Our people have given more than any other year. "God loveth a cheerful giver," hence, by their giving, their happiness has been increased manyfold, as their cheerful countenances plainly foretell. The permanent endow- ment fund has been gradually on the increase. Our people have become aroused to the real situation as never before.

Our fields, gardens, orchards, and vineyards have also been greatly blessed with productiveness, and the earth has not failed to yield her increase.
