Albert G. Porter, and made the principal speech in his behalf in the House of Representatives. Practiced law at Madi- son, Ind., 1882-94; removed to Chicago, 1894, and was mem. law firm of Charlton & Copeland, 1894- 1904; has practiced alone since 1904, largely in the federal courts in many states; his clients being located in nearly every country of Europe as well as in North and South America; has won cases that had previously been lost by some of the most distinguished lawyers in U.S. and England.
