ABOIT TOWNSHIP.
One of the western tier of townships, is bounded on the west by the county of Whitley, on the north by Lake township, and on the east and south by the townships of Wayne and Lafayette respectively.
The surface is quite level and somewhat marshy, particularly in the southern portion. It is traversed from north to south by the Aboit river, and in the southern and eastern portions by a number of small streams. The W., St. L. & P. Ry, and W. & E. Canal cross the south- ern sections of this township.
