At a legal meeting of the inhabitants of the town of fremsford, qualified to vote in town affairs, held at the town hall, bentre village, on Monday the 27th day of March 189 at 9 o clock in the forewoon, the following business was transacted, to wait: The meeting was called to order and the warrant read by the twoi click. Under the recommendation of the committee on appropriations it was voted to raise by tax and appropriate The following succes: For support of schools, $8100; school apparatus, / 100; school incidentales, $ 450; school text books and supplies, $800, School superintendent, +50; highways toconways and bridges, $5000; support of for $2300; relief of indigent soldiers and sailors, $100; repairs of public viewings, $400; town officers and committees, $1600; cattle inspection $ 100; collection and abatement of taxes, $ 650; village clock, $ 30; care and improvement of cemeteries × 200; Adams Library $800; miscellaneous expenses $ 600; payment of note- school house loan - 1200; interest on notes school house loan, 8384; on account of temporary loan, $2000. Noted that the treasures be authorized to borrow such sens of money as may be required forthe demands ufor min in anticipation of the taxes of the current and ensuring years and fragable there from al notes by the Treasurer or obligations of the town to be first approved by the selectiven, Look up Article 9. Noted that the parcel of land adjoining the town land, cing described and recommended by the cometery committee, be purchased by the selection to become a part of the cemetery, provided said land can be purchased for a reasonable sum. Voted that the sum of one thousand dollars be raised and appropriated to purchase land as voted, survey and lay out the newermistery, grade a part of it and place the same in proper condition, The money, to be spent under the directions of the selection. Look up Article 18. The special committee on additional school facilities at the North village reported in favor of purchasing the land with buildings mentioned in said article. Yoted that the report of the committee be accepted and placed are file. On motion of P. S. Ripley voted that the selecteren be authorized and instructed to purchase the land buildings at the corner of Silver and School streets, Touch freluns ford owned by G.A. Viñal, as recommended by the special committee, and that the suce not exceeding thirty five hundred and fifty (3550) dollars be raised and appropriated for the dance, Look up Article 19. Noted that the towns build a new school house in North frecuus ford in accordance with the plans and specifications presented by the committee and what the sun not exceeding the thousand four Prendred and fifty (10,450) dollars be appropriated for the same; and that a committee of five citizens, to wit: Stewart Mackay, Hubert Search Martin Robbins, Alexander J. Park and Edward X. Chamberlin be Elected as the building Committee, Look up Article 20, Voted, 184 in the affirmative and none in the negative, that Ervi W.
