Class of 1910 Peabody High School offered cups to be presented to the winning team of the Grammar School League baseball for each of the four successive years. The Wallis, Center,


and Endicott Schools were the only three teams in the league in 1911, but it was hoped to stimulate inter- est and have more contestants in the follow ing years.

It was stated that more than one half season tickets used between this town and Boston on Boston and Maine Road are purchased at Boston Office when they could be bought in Peabody and sales would count toward receipts of local station.
