Thomas H.O'Shea's new factory was equipped with machinery by the Turner Tanning Machinery Co. and with shafting and pulleys by Hamblet and Hayes of Peabody. Machine was driven by several 200 horse power motors.

To induce Thomas H. O'Shea, Peabody leather manufacturer, to build a new factory in Lynn, the Lynn Chamber of Commerce appointed a special commit- tee to impress upon him advantages of rebuilding his factory in Lynn. Mr.O'Shea announced he would re- build his factory in Peabody.
