an appropriate Christinasparty was made possible by generous contributions from the Church and several of the. affiliated organizations and the good work of the committee in charge and, of course, Santa Claus. Others were remembers at this time through white gifts and a sum of money for the Children at Honson Gate Hospital. Through the efforts of Mr. Miller a fine cast was purchased with the money.
The Easter ( Church) offering of $2.27 will help sponsor the religious education of a chosen Puerto Rican girl student.
We are pleased that Frank Wilson has consented to be assistant Superintendent four school.
It is planned to complete pre-summer activities with Children's way on June 27th.

"BIS" The BLS Class ( By Love Serve ) has a membership of 5 high school girls with an average attendance of 75% in Sunday School.
Their projects for the year were selling air Fresh and putting on a "Christmas Tea. Forselling air fresh' they received six pitchers which they gave to the Church. The money from the Tea event to Missionary work and the buying of 4 Bible story books which are used in class study.
For service work they have helped with Tiding' and other church papers, painted kindergarten tables and chairs, worked on church suppers , substituted in Sunday School and kept S. S. records Irene Wright

Playim The Pilgrim Fellowship meets regularly on Sunday evening Howship in the vestry for a worship service, film strips, discussion, and fellowship. During the year the P.7. joined the Brookfield Association Ilgrim Fellowship and attended the fall really in Brookfield and the spring rally in Southbridge The P. ?. also attended the Greenwich Union Rally in Spencer where one of our members was elected Treasures of the Union from approximately 150 members. The purpose of these meeting. is inter-fellowship, opportunity for youth to prepare and execute worship services (with supervision) to study and exchange ideas and methods of Pilgrim Fellowship and to encourage future leaders in religious work. The young to also attended the University of Life in Southbridge. In member and 3 adult leaders registeral.
Membership is now 24 as contrasted to 5 in 1950.
The P.F. was host to 3 other Fellowships. Asphagetti supper tuas served to 54 people, worship services hell, and entertainment provided. In turn, we accepted invitations to join theFellow ships at their churches for luncheon, worship, and entertainment
Each month we have a social, sometimes two, consisting of square dancing on skating, Christinas Fog over to young people, with Red. Miller, the Birchenough, Spowners went caroling about town in Wheeler's school bus. Upon returning to the church there was hat chocolate, sandwiches, Cookies and cake waiting for them,
The first service in the fall und last service of season is held as a Sunset Service and pienie on Birchenough's Knoll where fins are elected in the fall.
Missionary work accomplished consists of $15 i sent to Gould Farm in the Berkshires, I film stripes pourented to the church, and $ 50.52 given for Korean orphans. Adventures april 1, 1954- marked the end of the first five years In Reading of the adventures in Reading program in this church, Fifteen readers have qualified"by reading at least one books from each of the four groups- Thebible, the Church, and Devotional Life; General Education and Family Relationships. Mercitian Thought and Action, and that ever popular group, fiction , Biography, and General.
Last summer, on the suggestion of Helen Landen and recommendations of Christian Education Committee with approval of Library Trustees, it was decided to open the Brimfield Library for a brief period following each Sunday morning service, rather than continue bringing books to the church. This permits a cafdes range of choice for those who cannot readily visit the Library during it's regular haters. At first several women - Enlated on this service, but since some time in the Fall, Miss Hla Hoyt has served requialy, with occasional relief from Mrs. Beatrice Mac Connell.
This year, too, Church Findings has carried monthly a report on some book from wer lists. Included to date have been:

in permitting the opening of the building after church, but in perviding an excellent selection of books, and a Convenient grouping for those wishing to select from these lists.
The LBS, too, at some of its meetings has provided an opportunity for glancing through some of the newer books, comparing notes with other readers and taking out books if desired. These meetings also furnish opportunity for recording books read, and checking on others to keep in mind for further reading.
