At a Church Meeting after the usual Solemnities, voted to apply to Select Men of, the Town that they immediately issue a warrant for a Town Meeting to be attended on the 25th. instant September, with the following articles inserted in the marrant, viz;
1 - To know if the Town will agree with the Church with respect to the time of Mr. Kilburn's ordination.
2 - To know if the Town have any objections against the ordaining Council or either of them.
3 - To know if the Town will choose a Committee to make provision for the ordination Council.

6 - That in the admission of members to this church, that offer them- selves from other churches; its the oppinion of this church that thay have Jea right to examine any member of any church that desires to join with them (if they please) with regard to their friendship to Christ, and a reason of the hope within them; notwithstanding they may have a letter of recom- mendation from the church they came from.

The Council being formed, chose Rev, d Mr. Huntington Moderator and Rev: Mr. Williams Scribe.
On the 9th. the Council proceed to the ordination of Mr. Kilburn, all the difficulties in the view of the Majority being removed. It was therefore voted that the Rev'd Moderator should make the first prayer and give the charge. The Rev, d Mr. Bascom should make the ordaining prayer , and give the right hand of fellowship. and that the Rev, d Mr. Halls should make the last prayer.

January 28th, 1781
The Ch.h heard the report of the committee that was chosen to enquire of Mrs. Moffet the cause of her absenting herself from the Sacrement; who said it was her not being satisfied with Capt. Stephenson. accordingly they got them both together, and compounded matters so that they asked each others forgiveness, wherein they had injured each other in all difficulties that had subsisted between them, and they both promised for the future to live as Neighbors and Christians.

February 22nd. 1781.
At a Ch,h meeting after looking to God by prayer for direction, Voted: to dismiss Deborah Banister, wife of Bez. 1. Banister, and recommend her to the Ch,h of Christ in Chesterfield Gore. P Also, voted to chose five of the Brethren, as a committee, to enquire into any reports that are or may be propagated respecting the conduct of any of the members of the Ch,h and to lay them, by way of complaint before the Ch,h where they shall judge it necessary. The Brethren chosen were John DovPitcher Tucker, Ephriam Hatch, John Stephenson, Benjamin Peirce and Abner Brown.
March 15th, 1781.
After looking to God by prayer for his Direction in matters that were then before them; the Ch,h voted to dismiss and recommend Hannah Parsons, to t. the Ch,h in Chesterfield Gore.
At this meeting there was exhibited a letter from John Wilder and his Wife requesting a dismission from this Ch,h and 'recommendation to the Ch.h in Northampton. The Ch,h taking the matter into consideration, thought proper to chose a committee to confer with .. . said Wilder upon the propriety of his request, and report to the Ch,h accordingly, chose five as a committee, viz; The Pastor, Ephraim Hatch, John Russel, Benjamin Pierce and Thomas Halbert. Also at this meeting the Ch,h chose Benjamin Pierce and Thomas : Halbert to the office of Decons to serve in that office in this Ch,h The above named. persons accepted of their appointment to the office of Decons. several weeks after.

At a Church meeting, May 2nd, 1781, after looking to God by prayer for Direction: proceeded to examine a number of candidates for communion: And voted to dismiss and recommend to dismiss Mary Grimes to the Church in Ches- terfield Gore.
At this meeting the committee chosen at the last Ch,h meeting to treat with with Brother Wilder with regard to his neglect, made their report, together with the unchristian treatment they received from Mr. Wilder; which was accepted of by the Ch.h. At a Ch.h meeting. After Publick Worship was ended, voted to adopt the following Plan as a Rule of Ch.h Discipline, also voted to disannul and make void the former Plans viz. in Pages 16 & 17th. also 22: 23: 24: 25: 27th. & 28th. the Plan is as follows, viz:
3apt. ist: That no person in a Natural State receives any Spiritual Benefit or recommends himself to the favour of God by attending any ordinance whether Prayer, the ordinance of the Lord's Supper or any other commanded duty.
2ndly. That persons desiring to join the communion of this Church be required to give Gospell evidence to the Ch.h of their friendship to Christ and if they are disposed, they are desired to give the Reason of their Hope that is within them verbally or by writeing at the time when they are to be received.
3 ly; That the Pastor or Clerk propound those who understandingly desire admission to Communion with this Ch.h att lest two Sabbaths before they are admitted and that every member of the Ch.h ought to obtain the Satisfaction the Gospel required before the time to which they stand propounded that their declining to give a Publick declaration before the Ch.h may be no bar against their admission.
4 ly. That when any member of a Sister Ch.h offers himself to the communion of this Ch.h by vertue of a Letter, the letter being Proposed to the Ch.h one -Sabbath before, the Clerk of the Ch.h has a wright upon the Letters being read to put the vote whether the person be received.
5 ly: That no member of this Ch.h shall divulge Private offences; but follow the Rule of Disipline which Christ has given in ye 18th. Chapter of Matthew.
