This detailed report of the Board of Public Welfare, for the year, 1953, covering cost of Aid to Dependent Children, Disability Assistance, and General Relief, is herein sub- mitted.

The gross cost of operating these categories is broken down as follows: General Relief- $36,393.96; Aid to Dependent Children- $72,236.90; Disability Assist- ance- $24,592.96; Salaries- $7,983.45, for a total of $141,207.27, as the Gross Cost.
