Voted-That the Town Treasurer be and hereby is author- ized, with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow money dur- ing the municipal year beginning March 2, A. D. 1908, in an- ticipation of taxes, such sums of money as may be necessary for the current expenses of the town, giving the notes of the town therefor, payable one year from the date thereof.


All debts incurred under the authority of this vote shall be paid from taxes of the present municipal year.

In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of the town of Norwood, qualified to vote in elections and town affairs, to assemble in Village Hall in said town on Monday, the eleventh day of May next, at 7.30 in the afternoon, then and there to act on the following articles, namely :


Article 1. To choose a Moderator to preside at said meet- ing.


Art. 2. To see if the town will vote to raise and appro- priate the sum of two hundred dollars for the purchase of a portable house in which to serve lunches on the high school grounds.


Art. 3. To see if the town will vote to raise and appro- priate the sum of three hundred and fifty dollars with interest to pay balance due for fire alarm equipment.

FIRE ALARM EQUIPMENT, $375.

Voted-That the sum of three hundred and seventy-five ($375) dollars be raised and appropriated to pay balance on fire alarm repeater.


EVERETT AVENUE, $500.


Art. 4. On motion by Richard E. Oldham.


Voted-That the sum of five hundred ($500) dollars be ap- propriated and borrowed to be raised by tax in 1909 to gravel Everett avenue.


HILL STREET, $1,000.


Art. 5. On motion by Richard E. Oldham.


Voted-That the town accept Hill street as laid out by the Selectmen, and the sum of one thousand ($1,000) dollars be ap- propriated and borrowed to be raised by tax in 1909 to grade and gravel Hill street, subject to the provisions of Chapter 50 of the Revised Laws.


BEACON AVENUE, $400.


Art. 6. On motion by Richard E. Oldham.


Voted-That the town accept Beacon avenue as laid out by

the Selectmen and that the sum of four hundred ($400) dollars be appropriated and borrowed to be raised by tax in 1909 to gravel Beacon avenue.


AUSTIN STREET, $500.

Voted-That the town accept Austin street as laid out by the Selectmen, and the sum of five hundred ($500) dollars be ap- propriated and borrowed to be raised by tax in 1909 to gravel Austin street.


WINSLOW AVENUE.


Art. 8. On motion by James E. Hartshorn.


Voted-That the town accept Winslow avenue as laid out by the Selectmen, under the provisions of Chapter 50 of the Re- vised Laws.


HILL STREET (Water), $850.


Art. 9. On motion by William F. Baker.


Voted-That the sum of eight hundred and fifty ($850) dol- lars be appropriated from the Water Commissioners' treasury to extend the water mains on Hill street, subject to the usual guarantee.


EVERETT AVENUE (Water), $206.


Art. 10. On motion by William F. Baker.


Voted-That the sum of two hundred and six ($206) dollars be appropriated from the Water Commissioners' treasury to ex- tend the water mains on Everett avenue, subject to the usual guarantee.


WINSLOW AVENUE (Water), $375.
