Whitestown on the 5th of July 1803 With the Testimonys they Rec'd Respecting the Defeculties between Elders Stephen Parsons and John Hammond

4ly Took into Consideration the Complaint mad to the Church here against Elder Hammond it is our Oppinion that the Com- plaint is not proved of course Elder Parsons ought to remove it out of the way -- We are also of Oppinion that what he wrote of other things in his Complaint that was Scandelas if true -- Not being brought to us according to the Rule of the Gospel yet might serve to wound Elder Hammonds Carrecter was Quite Desorderly & that Elder Persons ought to Remove that out of the way also.

P.104 5ly What Elder Hammond wrote to us about Calling Elder Parson out Does not appear to be true according to the Evidence but the Revers for which he ought to make Satisfaction Likewise Denying what Sister Clark said about your being in the other Room with Persay appears to us not True ( her testimony being Confirmed to one of the Committe and to Sister Brayton by her Daughter for which you Ought to make satisfaction

6ly all that you said to the Church hear whether it be fals or true by mouth or pen against Elder Parsons that might tend to wound his Charector as Oppisite to Good Rule and Very Disorderly for which you ought to make him and the Church here satisfaction

Peter Werden Moderator of the Committee

P.105 The first Church in Cheshire freely approve of what the Committe has Done, in Consequence of which we Remove the Admonition we Laid on you Elder Hammond on the aforesaid Complaint, yet on the perticulars that the aforesaid Committe hath found you faulty in We in Christ Name Admonish you to Repentence to amendment of Life and that you make Satisfaction as far as may be for the afore'sd Transgressions, and Denie our felow- ship with you untill the fruit of Repentence becomes Evident By order and in behalf of the Church
