Did Lay out ye fence about said field as therin set forth & ye Land Moses Hudson Now Lvies Vpon was therin Included Now it is agreed by Vs ye subscribers & propriators within said field as also Moses Hudson that Now has that part of his Land shut out of sd field wher he Now Lvies : & ye fence Now to Run from ye top of ye hill on ye Easterly side of ye said Moses Hudsons Land wher he Lives & so to Run a Cross sd field on the westterly side of ye Land of Isaac Ramsdell junior Near to ye freshmarsh which field Lyeth on ye westerly side of that highway that Leads from ye Causeway bridge to the freshmarsh plaine so Cald


1 We agree that Each propriator shall Make & Maintaine his proportion of fence according to ye Number of Acres of Land they have within said field as it is Now Laid out & here after Incerted & ye fence to be Kept up all ye year from year to year for Ever hereafter Each Propriators proportion of fence is as followeth : Nathaniell Hathorn : 36 : pole beginning at the Lower End of his Land so Ruing Vpwars by ye Country Road Next to him Isaac Ramsdell : 16 : pole. & Next Moses Hudson : 34 pole : Next Samuell Burrill : 36 pole & a halfe. Next Isaac Ramsdell : 67 pole & a halfe Next Moses Hudson 32 : poles which Comes to the highway by the freshmarsh plaine & so a Cross said way & he to Make & Mainetaine ye Drawbars at ye fresh Marsh plaine that is a Cross said way

We the subscribers being apointed by the select Men of Lyn to Layout a Towne highway of two poles wide begining Neare William Eatons house & so Runing through the farm formerly Mr. John Hawkses to the Common Neare Chews hill provided the presant propriators will give the way freely : we have Laid it out as followeth begining at the Road that goes from Reding to Salem at Georg Lilleys gate between his house & William Eatons House so Downe to John Browns Land & over a Corner of his Land and so to Ebenezer Parkers Land so through his Land as Near the westerly part of it as ye swamp will alow of : so through John Hawks Land as ye way Now Lies Except against his house ther to go a Little within his fence : so over ye Brook by Moses Hawkses house on ye westerly side of the fence as it Now stands so Vp the hill before Moses Hawkes house as ye way Now goes : so throug Hanania Huchasons Land as the way Now goes : so through Ebenr Hawkes Land as ye way Now goes to the Common Near Shews hill. & we have Laid this way two poles wide : & the propriators Do Reserve the wood for their owne Vse

Voated that ther shallbe a Towne Meeting at the Meeting house on Tuesday Next which will be the twelfth Day of March instant at one of ye Clock afternoone in order to Receive the above Committes proposals & to see if they will Divid ye Common Lands in the Towne & at the same time the towne was accordingly warned to Meet

Voated that No person shall Cut down any green tree or trees Vpon the Common at any time before the thirteenth Day of March Instant on ye penalty of ten shilings for Each tree so Cut to be Recovered by the persons yt are to prosecute ye breach of ye towne orders Refering to wood &c or any two of them

Voated that Mr. John Pickering of Salem shall have : forty Nine pole of the towne Common Land Lying Next his owne Land by Darlings as it shall be set out by thoms ffarrar & Samll Collins he paying thirty shillings Money for the same
